New Partitions, Dividers & Barriers to Modify Shared Workspaces

The CDC's Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers Responding to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), May 2020 contains a wealth of information for businesses and employers can use to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19 within the workplace. The complete guidance can be found here.

Many workplaces have shifted to open concept floor plans in recent years. This creates unique challenges in creating a plan to reopen that meets the needs of your employees and customers. Two points from the CDC guidelines that we wanted to highlight today are the recommendations to:

Increase physical space between employees at the worksite by modifying the workspace.
Increase physical space between employees and customers (e.g., drive-through service, physical barriers such as partitions).
